“She Doesn’t Have To Bury Him At Home To Prove Her Love”- Solomon Buchi Defends Toluwanisings’ Wife

Solomon Buchi has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the burial of late singer Toluwanisings, insisting that the singer’s wife has the right to decide where her husband should be laid to rest.

In a statement addressing the issue, Buchi said, “Toluwanisings’ wife has the final say on where he should be buried. Not wanting him buried in their house doesn’t mean she doesn’t love him.”

His comment comes amid public debate over the late singer’s burial arrangements, with differing opinions emerging over whether he should be buried in his residential home.

Buchi’s remarks have added to the ongoing conversation about the role of a surviving spouse in burial decisions and why a woman’s preference regarding her husband’s final resting place should not automatically be interpreted as a lack of love for him.

@Itz~Ibrus:”It’s not about loving him or not, it is tradition , as long as he owns a house ,if he doesn’t, they’ll take him to his father’s compound. Most of una them just born una feed una indomie till una grow,no protein for una brain to understand tradition na just to Dey answer influencer”

@𝘿𝙀𝙀𝙉𝙊 𝙊𝙂𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙍𝙐:”This is not in anyway about maltreating or disrespecting a widow.  People should be respected wether dead or alive. And while doing that, customs and traditions of a people must be  respected too.”

@BigUncleSele:”All parties are guilty of not reading the room. A loved one just died. Everyone has cogent reasons for burial site yes but it’s up to the wife& father. The wife’s stand is a bit odd considering she just lost a soulmate and should want nothing other than having him back or close”

@HotTakes with Ajoke:”Everyone accepts that. However how does she insist on her stand without conflicting with the wishes of his father?Does the house belong to both of them?If so, She had better speak up now. The family may claim the house.Theyre already looking ahead.Shes a young woman&may remarry”
