Media personality Nancy Umeh has weighed in on the ongoing burial controversy surrounding late singer Toluwasings, throwing her support behind his widow amid the disagreement with his family over where he should be laid to rest.
Nancy called on the late singer’s family to allow his wife to have a say in the burial arrangements, insisting that she has every right to decide where her husband’s remains should be buried.
Reacting to the situation, the media personality expressed concern over the treatment of the widow, urging the family to consider her feelings and recognise her position as the deceased’s wife.
“Free this widow, she has every right to decide where her husband should be buried,” Nancy Umeh said.
Her comments have added to the growing reactions surrounding the dispute, which has sparked conversations on marriage, family rights and the role of a widow in making burial decisions.
