Fresh confusion has emerged over the release of relationship influencer Blessing CEO as conflicting claims circulate about the conditions attached to her bail.
A social media post by @cutie___juls claimed that Blessing CEO’s lawyer had said all the bail conditions had been met, while Isaamira Agiye, who has been appealing for support on behalf of Blessing, reportedly said the family still needs ₦56 million.
The post also claimed that Blessing was coordinating activities from custody through a smartphone and WhatsApp.
However, the circumstances surrounding the latest claims have not been independently established.
Available court reports show that Blessing CEO was granted ₦20 million bail in July in the alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case, with two sureties required to provide security in the same amount. The court also ordered verification of the sureties through the Lagos State Judiciary’s Bail Information Management System.
In a separate development, Isaamira Agiye was reported to have said the family needs ₦20 million to perfect the bail and another ₦36 million to settle complainants, bringing the total to ₦56 million.
The conflicting claims have since triggered reactions online, with some users questioning Blessing CEO’s actions and others asking what exactly remains to be done for her release.
