A shocking public punishment in Indonesia has sparked intense reactions online after a woman reportedly fainted moments after receiving dozens of lashes for allegedly violating strict Sharia laws in the Aceh province.
According to reports, the unidentified woman and her male partner were publicly punished in Banda Aceh, a province located in the northern part of Sumatra island where strict Islamic laws are enforced.
