Tension has gripped Auchi after a young Hausa man identified as Iliasu Muhammed from Bauchi State was allegedly arrested over the killing of a vigilante member in a case that has sparked nationwide debate.
According to accounts shared during interrogation, the suspect claimed he came to Auchi with his wife in search of a better life and was trying to survive through motorcycle commercial transport (okada business).
