Social media commentator Justice Crack has reacted to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s revelation about the strategy used by the G-5 governors during the 2023 presidential election.
Wike recently said the group deliberately allowed Peter Obi to win in Edo and Cross River because they wanted to prevent PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar from benefiting from the votes in those states. He said the strategy was aimed at weakening Atiku’s chances.
Reacting to the remark, Justice Crack questioned whether Wike was effectively admitting to interfering with the election and asked why no security agency had invited him to explain his comments.
“So, is Wike essentially telling Nigerians that he rigged the 2023 election, yet no security agency has invited him for questioning? if we are normal in this country Wike should be with the DSS,” Justice Crack wrote.
His comment has generated mixed reactions online, with some users interpreting Wike’s remarks as evidence of electoral manipulation, while others questioned whether his account actually amounted to an admission of rigging.
