Nigerian content creator and media personality Isbae U has explained the idea behind his decision to feature former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his interview show, Curiosity Made Me Ask.
The popular interviewer recently came under attention after sitting down with the former Nigerian leader, with some viewers expecting him to focus on political and national issues during the conversation.
However, Isbae U clarified that the purpose of his show goes beyond asking celebrities the conventional questions associated with their careers or public positions.
According to him, Curiosity Made Me Ask was created to reveal a different and more personal side of well-known personalities that the public rarely gets to see.
Addressing those who expected him to ask Obasanjo political questions, Isbae U said:
“Some people expected me to ask former President Olusegun Obasanjo political questions. Well, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ is about showing you another side of these celebrities you’ve never seen. I’m sure you guys haven’t seen Baba in these settings.“
The content creator’s explanation highlights the unconventional approach behind his interview series, where he seeks to present public figures in settings and conversations that differ from their usual public appearances.
