Nigerian singer Shoday has opened up about the difficulties aspiring musicians face when trying to build a career from scratch in the Nigerian music industry.
The singer reflected on the challenges that come with being an upcoming artiste, noting that the journey can be overwhelming, particularly for those who have to start without an established platform or support system.
According to Shoday, beginning a music career from zero requires navigating several obstacles, making the early stages of an artiste’s journey particularly demanding.
“I don’t think I can start music as an upcoming, there are things that upcoming artistes face that is very overwhelming, starting from zero is very hectic,” Shoday said.
His remarks highlight the often difficult path faced by emerging artistes as they work to gain recognition, build a fanbase and establish themselves in a highly competitive music industry.
