Popular content creator and TikToker Jarvis has called out the alleged misuse of artificial intelligence after an edited image of her appeared online showing her with a bigger stomach amid ongoing pregnancy rumours.
The content creator acknowledged that she has gained weight and has a noticeable tummy, but questioned why someone would digitally alter her appearance to make her stomach look even bigger and fuel speculation that she is pregnant.
“I will not condone unnecessary AI usage. People are misusing AI in this country, and I don’t like it. Because tell me why? Yes, I know that I have big tummy. Yes, because of overfeeding, late-night food, weight gain. Yes, I know I have,” she said.
Jarvis also reacted to the edited image, saying: “With what I saw today online, you people edited my stomach. Una I edit am, come make am bigger. Ah! What is it? Please. Stop unnecessary AI usage. I don’t like the fact that people using AI to fuel pregnancy rumours. I will not warn you people again.”
Her remarks come amid continued pregnancy speculation following her recent marriage to fellow content creator Peller. The couple are currently on their honeymoon in Tanzania.
Jarvis has maintained that the image circulating online was manipulated, while asking people to stop using AI-generated or edited content to spread unverified claims about her personal life.
Her reaction has, however, attracted further reactions online, with some users questioning her explanation and others continuing to speculate about the pregnancy rumours.
