A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations on social media after sharing her opinion on honesty and intentions in romantic relationships.
In a statement that has attracted attention, the lady questioned why some people use the language of love when their actual interest in someone is purely sexual.
According to her, people should be more straightforward about their intentions rather than making others believe they have genuine romantic feelings when all they want is a sexual relationship.
“Isn’t it better to just tell somebody, ‘I’m just sexually attracted to you, I don’t have feelings for you, I just wanna get down with you’ instead of using love?” she asked.
Her comment has sparked conversations about honesty, emotional manipulation and the importance of being clear about one’s intentions before getting involved with someone romantically.
While some may agree with her call for honesty, her statement also raises questions about people who use the word ‘love’ to disguise their actual intentions in relationships.
