Super Falcons interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen has named a 28-player squad for Nigeria’s Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualifying fixtures against Comoros.
The squad was announced on Tuesday through the Super Falcons’ official X account.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, prolific striker Asisat Oshoala and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie headline the squad, which also includes young forward Janet Akekoromowei.
Akekoromowei has attracted attention following her recent performances and move to Portuguese club Benfica.
Versatile defender Ashleigh Plumptre has also been recalled after missing the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations through injury.

The invited players have been directed to report to the AM2PM Hotel in Ijebu-Ode on Saturday, October 3.
Both legs of the tie will be played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo because Comoros does not have a CAF-approved venue for international fixtures.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, October 9, with the return fixture set for Tuesday, October 13.
The 10-time African champions will begin their bid to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles by taking on Comoros in the opening round of the qualifying campaign.
