Tears flow as Nollywood actress, Temitope Osoba passes away, leaving an irreplaceable void in the movie industry.
Her death was announced by a colleague, Alesh Ola Sanni on Instagram.
Temitope Osoba’s Death
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Alesh Sanni fondly recalled moments shared with the actress.
According to the actor, her death left him speechless and sleepless.
”Couldn’t sleep since last night. It’s well, rest in peace my dearest sister, Temitope Osoba.We had amazing time and good memories together. Till we meet again”, The post reads.
Although the circumstances surrounding the actress’s death remain undisclosed, fans and industry colleagues have continued to pour in condolences and tributes.
Temitope Osoba’s Biography
Born on December 2, 1985, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, she graduated with a degree in Business Education from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
She began her acting career in 2005 with her debut role in ‘Ijoya’, produced by Laide Bakare, but rose to fame in 2009 with ‘Ogun Mi’ by Dayo Amusa.
Battle With Cancer
It would be recalled that Tope Osoba was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023.
She discovered a lump during a self-examination, but her doctor initially dismissed it as being related to her childbearing age.
After the lump grew larger, she sought further tests that confirmed the diagnosis.`
Prior to her death, Tope Osoba used her platform to raise awareness about breast cancer.
