Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has generated buzz on social media after sharing his personal experience with individuals he claimed were linked to the controversial Illuminati group.
The singer made the revelation during a relaxed conversation with streamer Davrel while onboard a private jet on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Davido stated that he and his longtime associate, Lati, had encountered people he believed were connected to the secretive organisation on different occasions.
According to the award-winning musician, he chose to keep his distance from such environments because the lifestyle did not align with his personal values.
“There’s some kind of Hollywood settings me and Lati have been in that is kind of weird. The kind of things they do there, I just know it’s not for me. That’s why I don’t like going for Fashion Week,” Davido said.
