Bishop David Oyedepo has highlighted the massive scale of the “Ark” at Living Faith Church, describing the worship centre as a “global amazement” while detailing its extensive infrastructure.
Speaking about the facility, Oyedepo said the centre has a seating capacity of 109,000 people and is equipped with 20 chillers, 126 escalators and 29 elevators.
“What we have going on now called ‘The Ark’ is a global amazement. There are 109,000 seats, 20 chillers; one chiller can power a 5,000 bed hotel— there are 20 of them to service the center air conditions. There are 126 escalators, 29 elevators.”
The bishop’s comments have triggered mixed reactions on social media, with some users marvelling at the scale of the project and the investment involved, while others questioned the cost and purpose of such a massive church facility.
