Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has spoken about a misunderstanding that he says has surrounded his interactions with people who want to meet him.
Speaking during an interview with Feel Right News TV, the actor explained that he often asks people who wish to see him regardless of whether they are men or women to meet him at a hotel.
According to Solade, the arrangement has sometimes been misunderstood, particularly by women who assume that his invitation to meet at a hotel is an indication that he wants to have a sexual relationship with them.
The veteran actor appeared to suggest that the choice of meeting location is simply part of how he handles such meetings, rather than an attempt to make romantic or sexual advances.
His comments have sparked conversations online, with some people sharing their views about the assumptions that can arise from meeting someone at a hotel.
“Whether you’re a man or you’re a woman, if you want to see me, I’ll tell you to come and meet me in the hotel I’m staying in. And whenever I say that to women, they think I want to sleep with them”.
