A Nigerian lady has stirred conversations online after sharing a painful account claiming her involvement with a married couple she worked for ended in chaos and rejection.
According to her, she worked for the couple for about five years as a housemaid and initially had a good relationship with them before things reportedly changed between her and the wife.
Narrating the ordeal, she said:
“I started working with them five years ago. Initially, the woman was nice to me, but after a few months she changed and started treating me in a way I don’t like. The husband came to me and said he needed my help because they had been married for 10 years without a child.”
She alleged that the husband later proposed a private arrangement to her, promising to support her financially and help her achieve her educational and business goals.
The lady further claimed that things changed when the wife became pregnant, after which the husband allegedly distanced himself and told her to terminate her own pregnancy, denying their earlier agreement.
“He said I have to terminate it, can’t I see his wife is also pregnant. He said he doesn’t owe me anything that his wife is already pregnant.”
They shouted at me and threw me out of the house and didn’t even pay me for the last month I worked,” she added.
Her story has sparked mixed reactions online, with many people expressing concern while others questioned the decisions that led to the situation.
