A Nigerian Air Force personnel has publicly accused a fellow soldier of allegedly collecting ₦6,000 meant for the purchase of military kits and failing to deliver the items.
In a video shared online, the officer claimed he borrowed the money from his wife to enable his colleague purchase the kits on his behalf. However, he alleged that after receiving the money, the colleague neither delivered the items nor refunded the cash.
“This case is a warning to every soldier in the Nigerian military. Your fellow soldier can be worse than the dev!l, so be careful. Nigerians, the soldier whose picture I attached in this video is my colleague. I borrowed money from my wife to give him ₦6,000 so he could buy military kits for me, but he took the money and never delivered the items.”
The allegations have generated mixed reactions online, with some questioning why the matter was taken to social media over the amount involved, while others argued that the issue was about trust and accountability rather than the value of the money.
As of the time of this report, the accused soldier has not publicly responded to the allegation, and there has been no official statement from the Nigerian Air Force regarding the claim.
