Rangers are targeting Ryan Alebiosu as a replacement for their captain, James Tavernier, DAILY POST reports.
Tavernier will leave the Gers at the end of the season after 11 years at Ibrox.
Alebiosu is reportedly on the club’s radar as a potential replacement for the 34-year-old.
The Nigeria international is known for his athleticism and pace.
The 24-year-old is a popular figure in Scotland, having spent time on loan with Kilmarnock and St Mirren in the past.
Alebiosu has impressed in his first season with Blackburn Rovers, contributing one goal and five assists in 40 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship.
He was also part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
