US President Donald Trump could allow Iran to enrich uranium in a major concession, as it’s also reported that he screamed at his generals in a major meltdown. The deal would see Iran resuming its uranium enrichment in ten years’ time, the New York Times reports. The US President had pushed for a 20-year suspension over fears that anything less would make it too similar to a deal in 2015 that fell through.
The previous deal was signed by President Obama and banned Iran from enriching uranium above civilian levels for 15 years. Meanwhile, a new report released by the Wall Street Journal revealed that the President “screamed at aides for hours” following the downing of an American jet earlier this month. An F-15E Strike Eagle with two crew members was shot down by on April 3, marking a blow to the US as the war intensified.
