President Donald Trump has launched another spreed of late night Truth Social posts championing Republican primary wins for candidates he endorsed, gloating over defeats for anti-Trumpers and declaring the U.S. will never embrace socialism.
“America the Beautiful will NEVER be a Communist Country!!!” Trump wrote on his social media platform in the early hours of Wednesday morning, responding to a slate of victories for Democrats endorsed by left-leaning New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
“Many Communists running in badly failing Blue States,” the president said in another message to his followers.
“The votes seem to have them doing quite well against each other. The bad news is that history has conclusively shown that the downtrodden States that they will soon be running will ONLY GET WORSE.”
The Mamdani-backed progressives Brad Lander, Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier all won their races in New York’s 10th, 7th and 13th congressional districts respectively.
Trump appeared to take particular delight in Lander’s race, which saw the former city comptroller unseat incumbent congressman Dan Goldman by picking up 65.7 percent of the vote to 34.1 percent, which has been interpreted as a rejection of Goldman’s support for Israel.
“Weak and pathetic Congressman Dan Goldman just lost, BIG! I guess people didn’t like him illegally targeting President TRUMP,” the president gloated. “In any event, this jerk is finally GONE! “
Trump also took a personal interest in the outcome of the race for the Big Apple’s 12th congressional district, which saw assembly member Micah Lasher win out to succeed retiring veteran congressman Jerry Nadler.
Among others, Lasher defeated Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of 35th president John F Kennedy, and George Conway, the Lincoln Project co-founder and former husband of Trump’s first White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway.
“Wow, Mr. Kellyanne Conway, a Trump Deranged Loser at the highest level, is getting absolutely CRUSHED in the Primaries tonight,” the president wrote with relish.
“He’ll end up at about 5% of the vote in a rather weak field of young and aggressive Communists. No wonder his ‘husband’ dumped him like a dog! This is a truly unattractive person, both inside and out. Have a nice life, George!”
Trump also found time to repeat his claim that Texas Democrat James Talarico resembles Mad Magazine’s mascot Alfred E Neuman, adding that, in his opinion, Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff “looks like a twin to the Late, Great, Pee-wee Herman.”
“With these two horrible Political Candidates, I don’t know if there’s a genetic tree, but it certainly is close! What do you think?” he added.
“In any event, Mike Collins, of Georgia, should easily beat Pee-wee, and Ken Paxton, of Texas, should easily beat Alfred E. Vote Republican and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Away from the vote counting, Trump also claimed to have Iran “on the ‘ropes,’ ready to go down for the fall, willing to give us practically anything.”
He then lashed out at the Senate over its “poorly timed and meaningless War Powers Act Vote, telling the Number One Sponser [sic] of Terror in the World that the United States doesn’t like what I am doing to them, and I must stop, and by so doing has provided aid and comfort the Enemy.”
He continued: “Four Republican Losers voted with the Dumocrats, and Iran asked my people, ‘what does that all mean?’ These Senators have just made my job more difficult, but I will get it done, one way or the other, because I always get it done!”
Finally, he attacked energy companies for “not dropping their price at the pump commensurate with the sharply lower prices they are paying for Oil” now that the Strait of Hormuz has been reopened following the signing of his memorandum of understanding with Tehran.
“Those prices are dropping like a rock!” Trump wrote. “In other words, customers are being ‘gouged.’ I have instructed the DOJ to immediately start looking into this. Gasoline prices better start going down a lot faster than what I’m seeing!”
