Donald Trump has warned the Tehran regime the US is not yet done in Iran – but says he believes the war is nearing the end. In a new interview, the US President suggested he had to intervene against the regime to prevent it from getting nuclear weapons.
And he said the US military had the military might to deal a devastating blow to the country. However, in a major update on future peace in the Middle East, he said he believes Iran wants a deal.
Speaking to FOX Business anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview aired on Wednesday morning, Mr Trump said the Iran war was “very close” to end.
He added: “If I pulled up stakes right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild that country. And we’re not finished.
“We’ll see what happens. I think they want to make a deal very badly.”
