
Nigerian actress and movie producer Mary Njoku has stated that each gender should carry its own burden.
In a post on the social media platform Instagram, Njoku, who is married to businessman Jason Njoku, said that every gender should respectfully carry its burden without interfering with the other.

Referencing the bible, the mother of three mentioned that the creator of the earth cursed women to suffer pain in childbearing, as for the men, they were cursed to labour to provide for themselves and their family. In her narration, the movie actress went on to state that women have embraced their own curse from time immemorial; however, men want to share their own curse by going through the “50/50” route.

Here is what the movie actress wrote on Instagram, “When God was punishing humans for sinning in the Garden of Eden, the curse unto women was: She will suffer pain in childbearing.”
She went further to write, “For the man: he will labour to get food to feed himself and his wife. Now, there’s one party (men) that wants to share curse 50/50”
In conclusion, Njoku wrote, “Guys, let everyone stick to their curse.”
