A viral video has left Nigerians speechless. A mortuary attendant known as “Black Jesus” was caught and arrested after he was found selling clothes he removed from dead bodies. In the clip posted on X by @MR__Sulaiman1, the handcuffed man sits on the ground holding a black piece of clothing.
An angry voice off-camera questions him. The attendant openly confesses: he sells the clothes from corpses to people who use them for ritual purposes.
He even admits that the one he was holding was meant for an armed robber.“Once the armed robber hangs it on the street, he will rob the area successfully,” he explained calmly.
The video, which has already gathered thousands of views in less than 24 hours, shows the man looking straight into the camera with no shame.
Many online are calling it “madness” while others say it explains why crime and rituals are rising in the country.
So far, there is no official police statement or confirmation of the exact location. But the shocking clip has sparked massive reactions, with people saying things like “Chai, this country no dey finish” and “How can someone do this to dead people?”This latest scandal adds to growing worries about what really happens inside some mortuaries across Nigeria.
