The police authorities in Nyandarua County have initiated an investigation following the discovery of a man who was murdered in Gillet Village, Wanjohi Subcounty.…According to police reports, the incident was reported on April 20, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m.
The victim, identified as Samuel Kamau Ndegwa, a 44 year-old male, was found dead by the roadside around 8 a.m.
His body was completely naked and positioned in a pool of blood, exhibiting severe head trauma and facial swelling.
Law enforcement officials suspect that he was killed by unidentified perpetrators, before his body was dumped by the roadside.
The remains were transported to J.M Hospital Mortuary, where they are being preserved in anticipation of a post-mortem examination.
Investigations into the homicide are currently underway to determine the motive behind the crime.
His friends and neighbours have described the deceased as a jovial and humble guy who was rarely seen having fights with anyone.
