Several Nigerian celebrities, including Kemi Adetiba, Omawumi, Ini Edo, Tobi Bakre, Funke Akindele, Toke Makinwa, Uche Jombo, Mo Abudu and Shaffy Bello, have taken to social media to celebrate actress Ini Dima-Okojie following the announcement that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Abasi Ene-Obong.
eelive.ng reports that the actress, who has previously spoken publicly about her struggle with fibroids, shared the news on Wednesday via Instagram. In a video posted to her page, she appeared in a flowing white gown, gently cradling her baby bump.
Expressing gratitude, Ini described the pregnancy as a divine blessing unfolding at the right time. She expressed great gratitude, adding that she is preparing to embrace motherhood for the first time.
She also called the experience a “miracle, a privilege and a calling.”

She also reflected on the emotional and physical changes that have come with the journey, noting that she feels honoured and grateful to be entrusted with the gift of motherhood.
“There are moments when words feel too small for what God has done. This is one of those moments. In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. A story of grace. Of love. Of perfect timing,” she wrote.
