A chief from Warri, Delta State, has openly criticised Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, accusing her of interfering in issues affecting Warri while insecurity continues to worsen in other parts of the country.
Speaking during a public gathering, the traditional leader expressed frustration over the growing wave of kidnappings and violent attacks across the country, particularly in Osun State and parts of northern Nigeria.
The chief questioned the First Lady’s priorities, stating that while communities are grappling with serious security challenges, attention appears to be focused on matters unrelated to the urgent concerns of ordinary Nigerians.
According to him, children are being abducted in schools and communities, while many families continue to live in fear due to recurring cases of kidnapping and violence.
“We are not mincing words at this point. We are tired,” the chief lamented, reflecting growing concerns among citizens over the nation’s security situation.
