A few weeks ago, Tonto, while reflecting on her struggle with drugs, admonished the public not to hate drugs or addiction, but to pray for those stuck in it. Using herself as an example, Tonto noted that she was judged, became a nuisance and a mess, and made bad decisions, but many didn’t know she was a soul screaming for help, not attention.

Late last year, the mother of one shared a testimony on her healing from addiction and masturbation. She revealed that she began smoking at the age of 13 due to her father’s influence and smoked for 27 years before the addiction was completely broken. She also revealed that she struggled with alcoholism, and battled masturbation.

Following her testimony, Dikeh reintroduced herself to the world, revealing that she is a living testimony of mercy as she is among those whom God spared, restored, and commissioned. She said God looked at her mess and spoke destiny into her.

While delivering a powerful testimony at a gospel ministration in Tanzania, reflected on her dark times, revealing that she was led to unhealthy practices and choices she now regrets. She claimed that she joined a cult group, worked with demons, and more.

To prove how committed she is to God, she had graduated from the Discipleship class. Tonto said her journey with God has been the most healing, stretching, overwhelming, and beautiful experience of her life, and that no one can convince her there is no God.

Earlier this year, Tonto had announced that she had ditched the ‘King’ in her name after 8 years. She revealed that this decision came in obedience to the Holy Spirit and God’s will for her. She admonished the public to address her as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh.

In an Instagram post, the mother of one revealed her first assignment from God: to clean His house. She questioned Him because she has staff dedicated to maintaining her house, and God told her that cleaning His house is an assignment to launch her into His glory, so that He can clean her from the inside out.

Since turning 40 last year, Tonto has embraced a Christian life and as ditched her previous controversial lifestyle.

The former controversial actress said she is strong-willed and unapologetically radical for Jesus. She made it clear that no one has the power to pull her off God’s path.

While opening up on her new era, she said healing made her private and growth made her picky. She added that peace made her unbothered.

In another post, she had responded to a fan who inquired about her love life. She let the fan know she was focused on chasing money and power, not love.

Dikeh had reflected on her past life, noting how she went from being a mess to becoming a message. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she said that where God brought her from, no human should be there.
