Nigerian Afrobeats singer Fave has shared her thoughts on the need for stronger unity and collaboration among female artists in the music industry.
The talented vocalist expressed her desire to see female Afrobeats stars develop a closer relationship similar to the bond often displayed by their male counterparts. According to her, a stronger connection among women in the industry would create more opportunities for mutual support and growth.
Fave noted that male artists have built a culture of standing together and promoting one another, adding that female musicians could benefit from adopting a similar approach.
“I wish the female afrobeats artists would build a close-knit relationship like the male artistes so we can all uplift each other,” she said.
The singer’s comment has sparked conversations among music lovers, with many agreeing that increased collaboration and support among female acts could further strengthen the presence of women in Afrobeats.
