We’re in high spirits – Rivers Governor, Fubara addresses supporters [VIDEO]

The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has said his administration is full of positive energy despite his withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress, APC primary election.

DAILY POST reports that the governor had prior to the APC primary, announced his withdrawal, citing growing political tension in the state.

His decision triggered mixed reactions amongst his supporters as some expressed disappointment while others affirmed the necessity of the governor’s decision.

Addressing the supporters while inspecting an ongoing project on Friday, Fubara said he is in a high spirit.

He also assured residents of the state that all ongoing projects would continue and be completed despite the unfavorable political events in the state.

“We want to assure our people that notwithstanding the situation, every work that we have started will continue and be completed.

“We are in high spirits and like I always say, Rivers first”, he said.
