2027 presidential aspirant and former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has revealed his skepticism regarding President Bola Tinubu’s victory during the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary election in 2022.
Amaechi, who contested the party’s presidential ticket against Tinubu in 2022, spoke on Friday during a chat with Channels Television.
According to him, Tinubu’s ideology does not favour some regional and religious interests, stressing that society deserves a balance
He said, “On the first day, they said President Tinubu had won the APC primary; I told him I didn’t agree.
“Why is that said? There is a balance in every society, and that balance is that you must protect all religious interests in the society.
“I don’t see the current administration protecting the interests of all religions in the country. You must allow all regions and tribes to know that they belong to this country.”
DAILY POST reports that President Bola Tinubu contested the last election with a same-faith ticket as himself and his vice are Muslims.
