Nollywood actress and new mum Ini Dima Okojie has given fans a glimpse at her labour room experience.
Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday, June 24th, that while celebrating her birthday, Ini announced that she had welcomed a baby boy.
She said there is no role she has ever played that has humbled, stretched, or challenged her. The new mum admitted that the newborn phase is no joke and she didn’t fully understand what was waiting for her, but even on the hardest days, she wouldn’t trade the journey for anything.
Following the birth of her son, Ini shared a video of her labour room experience on her Instagram page, as she hailed mothers. She testified that women are the true superheroes.

In March, the actress, who tied the knot five years ago, announced that she and her husband, Abasi Eneobong are expecting their first child. Sharing a video of her baby bump, she expressed excitement at finally becoming a mother and how in awe she is of her body changing.
The soon-to-be mum shared a video of the emotional moment she found out she was pregnant. In the clip, Ini was seen holding the strip test otherwise known as a urine dipstick as she shed tears of joy. Her husband, who was recording the video, and at the background comforting her.
Dima, had released a video from her dreamy baby shower, which was held in February. In the clip, the movie star and her husband hosted their close friends and colleagues, including Nancy Isime, Waje, and many others, at their shower.
Last week, the Blood Sister star had revealed one of her pregnancy cravings – which was lots of pepper. According to her, no one could eat her food, and at some point, she began to pity her baby.
In a previous video, she had shared an interesting story of how pregnancy cravings made her cry for food. Narrating the incident, the first-time mum, in a video shared on her Instagram page, said she always believed people were being overdramatic when they talk about pregnant womén crying for food, until she experienced it first-hand.
While promoting her clothing brand for pregnant womén and other women, Ini confessed that though pregnancy is beautiful, one of the things she struggled with was finding pieces that felt comfortable, elevated, and most importantly, still felt like her.
On Mother’s Day, the talented actress gave a shout-out to Mothers, saying she can’t believe she gets to wish herself Happy Mother’s Day. She said Mother’s Day has always been special to her, but this year’s own hits differently.
The birth of her baby is undoubtedly a testimony to many as the movie star had battled with Fibroid for years.
