Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked reactions online after sharing his opinion on relationships, commitment, and cheating.
Speaking during a recent podcast on The Honest Bunch, the actor stated that a woman who truly loves a man will be deeply committed to him and willing to stand by him no matter the situation.
“If you come across a woman that loves you, that is invested in you, she can take a bullet for you. The problem is that many men are with women that don’t love them, wasting their time,” he said.
Yul further claimed that once a woman starts cheating in a relationship, she has already emotionally disconnected from her partner.
He also advised men to establish boundaries in relationships, insisting that women respect and love men they consider strong and firm.
“Once a woman begins to cheat, she has checked out. Her brain has checked out, emotion has checked out.”
“Your wife or girlfriend must know there are lines they can’t cross or that will be the end of the relationship and be strict with it. Women don’t love weak men,” he added.
The actor further advised men to be firm in their relationships and marriages, stating that a woman who genuinely loves her partner will remain committed despite challenges.
His statement has generated mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his views while others criticised his comments about women and relationships.
