A young boy has gone viral on social media after expressing frustration over the intervention of officers of the Nigerian Police Force, who rescued an alleged phone theft suspect from an angry mob.
According to the boy, the suspect and an accomplice allegedly robbed a victim of an iPhone 16 and stabbed the victim during the attack. He claimed that while one of the suspects was apprehended by residents, the other managed to escape.
Speaking in the viral video, the boy said he was disappointed that the police arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody instead of allowing the mob to carry out a lynching.
