Big Brother Naija winner and singer, WhiteMoney, has shown support for popular content creator Carter Efe after the streamer’s United States visa application was rejected, stopping him from attending Kai Cenat’s Streamer University programme despite securing a place.
WhiteMoney, whose real name is Hazel Oyeze Onou, shared a heartfelt video message on his Instagram page on July 16, 2026, where he encouraged Carter Efe not to allow the setback to affect his confidence or progress.
In the video, the reality TV star praised Carter Efe for his achievements, describing him as one of Africa’s leading streamers, especially on Twitch. He urged him to view the visa denial as only a temporary obstacle rather than a reason to give up.
Drawing from his personal journey, WhiteMoney recalled how he faced rejection multiple times before becoming a Big Brother Naija winner. He revealed that he auditioned for the reality show three times and was unsuccessful before finally getting selected on his fourth attempt.
“I understand rejection. I understand how you feel. I know. I’m so sorry about that,” WhiteMoney said while addressing Carter Efe.
The singer further reminded the content creator of the impact he has already made in the streaming space, encouraging him to focus on his accomplishments rather than the disappointment.
“You have done what a lot of streamers in your generation in Africa have not done. You are undoubtedly one of the biggest African streamers we have. On Twitch, you’re one of the biggest. You rack views, you rack subs, you’re good at what you do,” he said.
WhiteMoney added that the setback should serve as motivation for Carter Efe’s next chapter, stressing that one rejection does not define his future.
“Let that not bring your energy down; rather, let it fuel the trajectory of the next phase of your life,” he advised.
He concluded by encouraging Carter Efe to make another attempt at securing the visa in the future, reminding him that his achievements go beyond the outcome of one application.
“You’re not defined by that,” he added.
Sharing the video, WhiteMoney captioned it with words of encouragement for the streamer:
“Wwwwwww in the chat for this young man called @carterefe. Your light 💡 can’t be dimmed bro 😎……OTAMIEMIE.”
