A man has sparked reactions online after claiming that no person has the power to place a curse on another individual that can determine the course of their life.
The man made the remarks in a viral video shared by YabaLeftOnline on X, where he questioned widely held beliefs about curses, spiritual attacks and the influence of “village people” on an individual’s destiny.
He argued that not even a person’s mother, father or pastor could place a curse on them that would ultimately control their life.
According to him, people should take responsibility for the direction of their lives instead of attributing their challenges to supernatural forces.
“There’s nobody in this world that can lay a curse on you that is going to work. There is no soul, not even your mom, your dad nor pastor, nobody has that kind of power over your life except you.
“Nobody can change the trajectory of your life except you. The only people that can actually stop you from doing anything are people who are physically there; maybe they unalive you. They are physically, actively doing it, not spiritual.
“Spirituality, you know, like, it’s not real, man. Those things are not real. No woman you are going to sleep with or no man you are going to sleep with is going to hinder your blessing. It doesn’t work.
“Those things are not real, bro. Forget whatever you think. If you give those things that much power, it’s going to affect you, but those things are not real.
“The only person that can actually channel your life is you. You are the sole person that is…”
The man further dismissed the belief that “village people” could spiritually prevent someone from succeeding.
He said, “When I talk to people about, ‘Oh no, but village people,’ they are not real, bro. They are not real.
“All the prayers people have been praying for you, they don’t work. But are the bad ones physically? They work, but all those things are not real. Forget. They are not real.
“The only people that can stop you are people who can physically stop you.”
