President Donald Trump of the United States, US, has warned Black voters in the country against voting for Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
Trump, who spoke on Thursday during a campaign rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina, described the Black and Jewish voters as “crazy” if they support the Democratic candidate.
During his over one-hour speech, Trump shifted attention from the South Carolina election to the closely watched Michigan Senate race between El-Sayed and Republican candidate Mike Rogers.
He urged Black and Jewish voters not to support El-Sayed, whom he accused of having links to the Islamist organisation, the Muslim Brotherhood.
“If you’re Black or if you’re Jewish and if you vote for Abdul, you’re crazy,” Trump said, adding that the voters were “crazy anyway.”
Trump also warned that the country would not allow what he called “radical left jihadists” to tear down his administration’s progress, urging voters to reject the party.
