Nigerian singer Portable has called out social media activist VeryDarkMan, questioning how he spent the ₦200 million reportedly given to him by Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy.
In a heated statement, Portable accused VeryDarkMan of previously calling him a thief and sharing his nude pictures. He also questioned the activist’s use of the money Burna Boy reportedly donated, making allegations about how the funds were spent.
“VeryDarkMan, you called me a thief and posted my nude. Burna Boy gave you 200 million, wetin you use am do? You go build ashawo house. Where NGO money dey? You’re just fighting for your pocket. Burna Boy, go and collect your money back,” he said.
The singer further accused VeryDarkMan of pursuing personal interests rather than genuinely fighting for the public, urging Burna Boy to demand the return of his money.
Portable’s remarks have added another layer to the ongoing public criticism surrounding VeryDarkMan, who is known for his outspoken views on social issues and his activities through his non-governmental organisation.
