Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has officially exited Naira Marley’s Marlian Music imprint, marking the end of his seven-year run with the label.

The singer reportedly left the record company on Thursday, April 23, 2026, to begin a new chapter as an independent artist. His departure is said to have followed an alleged disagreement with Marlian Music boss, Naira Marley.

Shortly after his exit, Zinoleesky announced the launch of his own label, Zinodict Music. The unveiling came alongside the release of his first solo project under his independent status titled “Nostalgia,” which he shared on his social media platforms.

Speaking on the issue, the actor disclosed that his father often made major financial moves without consulting his mother, a pattern that later affected his situation.

“The biggest mistakes my dad made financially were mistakes my mom sat him down and said you’re going off to do this without my consent, and every time we have a conversation he always tells me he’s in this current position because he didn’t listen to my mother”.

According to Jim Iyke, his father now acknowledges that ignoring his wife’s advice contributed to his current financial standing, highlighting the importance of communication and mutual decision-making in relationships.
