Zubby Michael, a popular Nollywood actor, has urged Christians to leave Jos following recent killings in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, where several lives were reportedly lost.
In a post shared via his Instagram story, Zubby Michael urged Christians in the area to consider relocating for their safety.
“Christians should leave Jos,” he wrote, warning that remaining in the area could expose residents to further danger if such attacks persist.
However, his comment has drawn criticism from some Nigerians, including media personality Daddy Freeze, who faulted the advice.
Reacting, Daddy Freeze argued that residents should not be forced to abandon their homes due to insecurity.
“Why? It’s their homeland? Why should they run? It’s the government’s duty to protect them,” he stated.

In the same vein, Cubana Chief Priest, Nigerian celebrity barman, said he had been deeply affected by the attack, particularly by a viral video showing a mother and her child.
He also criticised the state governor, suggesting he appeared more fearful than the residents.
The socialite further claimed the attackers represented a failure of security agencies, calling the situation “an embarrassment to our president on his birthday.”
Numerous celebrities also condemned the violence on social media, including Jos-born rapper Ice Prince, actor and activist Mr Macaroni and singer Peter Okoye.
The massacre occurred on the evening of March 29, when suspected gunmen stormed the Gari Ya Waye area of Angwan Rukuba in Jos North.
The attack left more than 20 residents dead and several others injured, prompting families to flee as gunfire echoed through the community.
