Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has submitted the names of three commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The request was conveyed in an executive communication read during plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan.
The nominees are Hon. Bukar Mustapha Dallatu, Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo, and Barr. Hauwa Abubakar.
Following the presentation, the House resolved that the nominees should appear before it for screening in line with legislative procedures.
The screening is expected to evaluate their qualifications, experience, and suitability for appointment as commissioners before a final decision is taken by the Assembly.
