Monday’s nomination process took a different turn as Big Brother gave the housemates a chance to make their choices in full view of the House.
Following the usual Conspiracy Hour, each housemate was handed an envelope, pen and paper and asked to name two housemates they wanted to save. But this time, keeping their choices to themselves was not an option. Once their decisions were made, the housemates had to read them out to the entire House and explain why they had chosen those particular housemates.
The process put relationships, loyalties and alliances on display, with housemates having to stand by their choices and, in some cases, explain them to the people sitting right in front of them.
At the end of the process, Sheba, Goddessa and Aikou were the three housemates saved by their fellow housemates. As part of the nomination twist, the Head of House, Chimsom Chuka, was given the power to decide which of the three would remain safe. With only one spot available, Chimsom Chuka chose Sheba, leaving Aikou who is a gambit and Goddessa to face the public vote.
With Abi, the Most Influential Player of the Week, already holding immunity, Chimsom Chuka as Head of House, Sheba now saved from eviction and Flora who’s a gambit, the housemates facing the public vote are Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Gerard, Goddessa, Keivo, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf.
Chimsom Chuka Takes Head of House for a Second Time
Chimsom Chuka’s latest Head of House win marks his second time holding the position this season, further showing just how competitive he has been in the House. From taking on the HOH challenge to using his veto power to save Sheba, Chimsom continues to play an active role in how the week unfolds.
A Topsy Turvy Week in Biggie’s House
The House is also settling into a new theme this week: Topsy Turvy. The theme brings the idea of an upside-down House to life, turning familiar routines, roles and expectations on their head and challenging the housemates to navigate a week where things may not work quite as they normally do.
Voting Lines are Now Open
With the latest nominations now set, attention turns to the housemates facing the public vote. Voting is open until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, with votes cast through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps or the Africa Magic website.
