Benue women entrepreneurs are set to benefit from free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) business registration and access to business loans under a new support initiative organised by Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) in partnership with AfriWON and Novus Microfinance Bank.
The programme follows the Women in Digital Business Summit 2026 and is aimed at supporting women-owned businesses in Benue State through business formalisation and improved access to finance. According to the organisers, qualified participants will receive free CAC business registration, while eligible applicants will also have access to business loans.
BDIC said the intervention is designed to strengthen women-led enterprises, improve financial inclusion, and support enterprise growth across the state.
In a public notice released ahead of the exercise, the organisers stated that the initiative would help women entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses and participate more actively in the digital economy.
“Together, we empower women, build businesses, and grow the digital economy of Benue State,” the notice read.
The exercise is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the BDIC Head Office located at No. 64 J.S. Tarka Way, opposite Railway Market, Makurdi, Benue State. The event is expected to begin by 10:00am.
Interested beneficiaries have been advised to come along with their National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), current electricity bill, passport photograph, and CAC certificate for already registered businesses seeking loan support.
BDIC, AfriWON and Novus Microfinance Bank said the partnership reflects their commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, women empowerment, and business development in Benue State.
The initiative is also expected to improve access to structured financing opportunities for women entrepreneurs who often face challenges securing formal business support and registration services.
