A Nigerian man has displayed his Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result, leaving social media buzzing with an unexpected inquiry.
The man, identified as Hamza’h Ahmed on Facebook, sought clarity from netizens if he could apply for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with his JAMB result.

A screenshot attached to the post showed he scored 78 in English Language, 78 in Physics, 79 in Mathematics, and 77 in Chemistry, totalling 312.

NYSC Background
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was established on May 22, 1973, through Decree No.24
It was created to promote national unity, cohesion, and development after the Nigerian Civil War in 1970.
Notably, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, was established on February 13, 1978, by the Federal Government of Nigeria under General Olusegun Obasanjo’s military regime.
Earlier, GistReel reported that the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) commenced on April 16, 2026, and will run until April 25, 2026.
Over 2.2 million candidates are participating in the exam, which is being conducted at 966 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers across Nigeria..
