Canada has released a list of 26 priority jobs for the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP), a federal economic immigration program aimed at attracting qualified foreign workers to rural and isolated towns across the country.
The RCIP provides qualifying applicants with permanent residence if they commit to living and working in participating rural towns for the foreseeable future.

How to qualify for Canada’s RCIP
To be considered for the RCIP, applicants must have a legitimate employment offer in one of the qualified occupations from an employer located in a participating rural community.
Meeting the community-specific criteria is also required, which means that applicants must demonstrate a real commitment to remain in the area permanently rather than using the rural pathway as a stepping stone to a larger metropolis.
