Her phone was charging on top of a drawer beneath the counter. The moment she turned her back, the customer allegedly pushed several phone cases off the counter intentionally.

One of the cases fell to the floor, prompting the businesswoman to bend down to pick it up, unaware of what the man had planned.

Moments later, she quickly lifted her head and found the man holding her phone while still pretending to be engaged in the call.

Without hesitation, she grabbed the phone from his hands, leaving both of them standing in an awkward silence.

The man appeared to suggest that he was merely trying to pick up the fallen phone cases, but the businesswoman immediately suspected otherwise.

She also briefly reprimanded the attendant at the counter, who appeared to have noticed what was happening but did not react.

The clip ignited mixed reactions online, with many praising the woman’s vigilance, while others speculated that one of the attendants may have been involved in the botched theft attempt.
