Ceasefire: We’ve received US counter-proposal to end war – Iran

Iran has confirmed the reception of the United States counter-proposal to end the war that started on February 28.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei made this known during a Monday press conference, noting that Tehran received the proposal via mediators in Pakistan.

“The U.S. message was received through Pakistan and I will not discuss the details of the issues raised at this time, because these issues are still under review.

“The issues raised about enrichment or nuclear materials are purely speculative and, at this stage, we are not talking about anything other than stopping the war completely,” Baghaei said.

He further stated that the next direction Iran would take will be determined in the future.

Recall that US President Donald Trump, while responding to questions from reporters on Sunday, said talks were going very well.

The President, in a post on Truth Social, also stressed that he was fully aware that his Representatives were having very positive discussions with the Country of Iran, and that the discussions could lead to something very positive for all.
