Comrade Dauda Joins APC Presidential Council To Seek Oba Of Lagos’ Blessing Ahead Of 2027

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has joined members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council on a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu, to seek royal blessings and wise counsel ahead of the 2027 elections.

The delegation was led by the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

Other members of the delegation included the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Hon. James Faleke; former Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu; and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Na’Abba, among other party leaders and stakeholders.

During the visit, the delegation sought the prayers, royal blessing and valuable counsel of the revered monarch as the APC prepares for the 2027 elections.

Comrade Dauda appealed to Lagosians, particularly residents of Ikeja, to continue supporting the APC and vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

He commended the Tinubu administration’s commitment to transforming the country and laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and development.

 

Comrade Dauda urged residents to remain steadfast in their support for the party, stressing that collective commitment to the APC would help sustain ongoing reforms and development initiatives.

 

He said: “A vote for the APC is a vote for a brighter future. I appeal to all Lagosians, particularly the good people of Ikeja, to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.”

 

The Ikeja Council Chairman also expressed confidence that the party would emerge stronger from the 2027 elections, urging party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the ideals of progressive governance.
