Nigerian skitmaker and content creator Oluwadolarz has opened up about the challenges of involving family members in his entertainment business, admitting that it may not have been the best decision.
The entertainer explained that although bringing his family into the entertainment industry initially seemed like a good idea, he has come to realise that it comes with certain disadvantages.
According to him, working with family members can make it difficult to maintain a clear boundary between professional and personal relationships.
Oluwadolarz noted that instead of enjoying quality family time, the relationship gradually becomes centred around work, with family members relating more like colleagues than relatives.
Sharing his thoughts, he said:
“Doing business with family is not advisable. Bringing my family into the entertainment industry was a good one, but I feel like it’s something I shouldn’t have done. You don’t get to be with your family anymore, you just get to be with your colleagues.”
His comments have sparked conversations about the challenges of mixing family relationships with business, particularly in the entertainment industry, where professional commitments can easily take over personal time.
