A woman has shared valuable relationship advice with other women, drawing from her personal experience as a single mother of two.
In a message directed at women navigating relationships, she encouraged them to prioritize self-respect, maintain their boundaries, and avoid rushing into commitments before fully understanding their partners.
According to her, women should be cautious about believing promises made by men until those words are backed up by consistent actions. She advised giving relationships enough time to grow before introducing a partner into personal spaces such as the home or allowing access to children.
“Things I’ve learned as a single mother of two: Always stand your ground and protect your dignity. Don’t believe everything a man tells you until he proves himself with his actions. Give it at least six months to a year, or wait until he’s ready to meet your family,” she said.
She further warned women against revealing too much too soon, stressing that a man should not immediately know where they live or become involved with their children before proving his intentions.
“He has no business knowing where you live or meeting your children too early. Also, have something doing,” she added.
Her advice has sparked conversations about the importance of independence, patience, and emotional awareness when building romantic relationships, especially for single mothers who want to protect themselves and their families.
