Actress Doris Ogala has publicly challenged Apostle Johnson Suleman following the cleric’s recent comments praising Abia State Governor Alex Otti ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Suleman had described Governor Otti as an example of what good governance could achieve, suggesting that the governor may not need to campaign extensively to secure another term in office.
The statement did not sit well with Ogala, who is also interested in contesting the Abia governorship seat.
Taking to Instagram, the actress questioned Suleman’s position and challenged his understanding of the current situation in Abia State.
Ogala particularly took issue with a claim concerning 24-hour electricity in the state, arguing that the reality experienced by residents on the ground was different from what had been portrayed.
She also accused the cleric of effectively campaigning for Otti, despite his suggestion that his comments should not be interpreted as campaign-related.
In another post, Ogala alleged that she was aware of details surrounding an encounter involving Suleman at a hotel in Lagos. She warned that she could reveal what she claimed to know if she chose to do so.
“I speak with evidence,” she wrote, while suggesting that she had information that could be made public.
Ogala further told the cleric to “bring your police and judiciary,” maintaining that she was ready to face him over the matter.
Her comments have added another layer to the growing political conversation surrounding the 2027 Abia governorship race, with Ogala making it clear that she disagrees with Suleman’s public assessment of Governor Otti.
